Description

In this recipe, the tart flavour profile of Schisandra is complimented by the sweet and sour flavours of Hibiscus. A beautiful herb in its own accord, hibiscus is a rich source of Vitamin C, supporting digestion, whilst cooling the body.

 

Schisandra is an adaptogenic tonic herb that helps balance the nervous system, improves brain function, elevates immunity, and through its effects on the overall harmony of the body, assists those who consume it in remaining youthful, both in appearance and physiology.

 

This recipe is perfect for those hotter days!

Other Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp Hibiscus tea
  • Hot/Boiling water
  • 1/2 tsp raw honey
  • Ice

Method

Step 1

Add the boiling water to the hibiscus tea in whatever vessel you own (teapot, french press, mason jar etc.)

Step 2

Dissolve in the Schisandra and the honey whilst still hot.

Step 3

Brew for 10-15 minutes,

Step 4

Pour over ice and enjoy!
