At SuperFeast, we wild harvest our Chaga from the Changbai mountain region, as per the Dì Dào (地道) philosophy. You know how passionate we are about health and putting an end to unnecessary degeneration in society. We have the same intentions as you; wanting the most vibrant and well-lived life possible, for yourself and your family. It is these unwavering intentions that have us so committed to SuperFeast Chaga being wild harvested in the pristine, robust and wild ecosystems of the Changbai mountain region. Protected by the local government to ensure the integrity and longevity of the land- SuperFeast wild Chaga is harvested via individual, small-batch foragers, like Mr Tsung, who has been doing this for 20 years.
Traditionally this powerful adaptogen is found growing wild in old-growth birch forests. Part of the potency of wild Chaga comes from the birch wood on which it grows; Chaga draws its life force from the birch bark and engages in a symbiotic relationship with the birch. The ability of this adaptogenic mushroom to predigest the nutrients contained in the birch tree, allows it to deliver a potent medicine that serves so many benefits for us humans.
At this stage, this is a sustainable and long-term harvesting process. However, Mason (founder of SuperFeast) will continue to communicate and receive insight from our foragers about using practices that are not taxing the land and with longevity in mind. With the popularity of Chaga continuing to increase dramatically, our earth-friendly ethos is always at the forefront of our harvesting practices.
